The Sennheiser Wireless Omni Lavalier and Portable Receiver is a smaller, lighter, easier way to go on the road with a high-quality wireless clip-on mic system. It uses an autoscan to pick up intelligible frequencies and covers 1440 frequencies within a 36MHz switching bandwidth for greater tuning flexibility. The four switchable presets can be programmed to any of the 1440 frequencies. Robust metal construction makes the receiver durable, and pilot tone squelch keeps extraneous noise away from the microphone, which is omni-directional. The portable receiver uses small body pack transmitters and transmitter battery status telemetry. An LCD display shows signal metering, and has variable-level .25-inch unbalanced TS and XLR balanced connectors. Charging is handled through external contacts, or you can use AA batteries to power the receiver.
